Join us in Kigali for 'Investing in the Circular Economy'

Please join us in Kigali on May 24th for an afternoon focused on the circular economy and the changemakers that grow it.

Investing in the Circular Economy (ICE) is a half-day event about circular economy entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on Rwanda. During ICE, you’ll hear from trailblazing entrepreneurs, industry experts, policy makers, and investors working to literally move mountains… of waste. We’re hard at work making sure to create a fun, relaxed afternoon and look forward to seeing you there.

A snapshot of the programme:

The afternoon will be facilitated by Carl Joshua Ncube, in his own words ‘the most famous Zimbabwean stand-up comedian’. Carl Joshua will guide us through panel discussions, key notes, etc.

Panel 1 will feature circular economy entrepreneurs and their groundbreaking business models. Companies represented include Mr. Green Africa, Sanergy, Kudoti, Yo-Waste, etc.

Panel 2 will zoom in on sustainable fashion and textiles and what’s trending in the sector across the continent. Panelists include representatives from Afrikrea (ANKA), Lagos Fashion Week, Uzzuri, etc.

Panel 3 will focus on the circular economy investors and market builders that are creating fertile grounds for ventures to grow.

In between the panelists, we’ve got some tricks up our sleeve with Carl Joshua and others.

WHEN Tuesday May 24th, 1.00-5.30pm, followed by a light dinner and a musical guest
