The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) works to improve access to nutritious food for vulnerable communities and low-income workers in Punjab, Pakistan. Through community distribution networks and workplace meal programmes, the initiative NutriForce for Future strengthens access to better nutrition, health, and everyday wellbeing.

The work focuses on improving meal quality, access to safe drinking water, and nutrition around pregnancy, breastfeeding, and early childhood. By strengthening these conditions, mothers are better able to secure health and stability for their families, creating stronger foundations for everyday life and participation in work.

At the same time, the initiative builds on existing systems by strengthening local supply chains and embedding better nutrition practices with partners. This supports long-term access to healthier food and creates more resilient communities over time.
