HELPO is a non-profit organisation working with young people in Mozambique to strengthen access to education, skills, and work. Through its (In)Formar programme, HELPO focuses on young women as they move on from secondary school into further education, employment, or starting their own business.The focus is on making it easier to access the information, skills, and opportunities needed to take the next step.

The programme combines career guidance, life skills, and digital training with access to vocational training and internships. Together, young women build confidence and get access to the tools needed to engage more actively in work and everyday life.

At the same time, (In)Formar works to remove barriers that keep young women out of education and employment. By strengthening skills and access to opportunities, the programme contributes to more young women building economic independence on their own terms and shaping stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
