SOS Children’s Villages works with children and families in Laos to create safer and more stable everyday lives. Backed by BESTSELLER Foundation, the Family Strengthening Programme in and around Vientiane, the capital of Laos, works with families to build the foundation they need to care for their children and plan for the future

The programme combines education, parenting, health, and household finances. Caregivers take part in training and income-generating activities, while children gain access to school and the support they need to stay in education.

Alongside its work with families, SOS Children’s Villages works with local communities and authorities to strengthen child protection and ensure that vulnerable children receive the support they need.
